POLICIES

Rates:
La Leona Eco Lodge rates are given in US-Dollar per person per day, including all Costa Rican hotel taxes and credit card fees.

Children:
Children from 4 to 10 years pay 50% of the rate (except Christmas and Easter), kids from 11 years on pay full price.

Reservation:
After your reservation we send you an authorization form for your credit card which we ask you to fill in and return to us for fixing your reservation. 30 days before your arrival at La Leona Eco Lodge we charge you 50% of the amount for your stay and the rest before arrival. For reservations within a shorter period of time before arrival we charge you the full amount right away.

Payment:

Authorization forms for your credit card will be charged in US-Dollar before your arrival. Further payments at the lodge for tours or extras will be charged at the lodge in Costa Rican Colones based on the exchange rate indicated at the reception desk at the lodge.

Cancellation:
In case you cancel your reservation before 30 days of your arrival we don’t charge you for your stay, from 29 days to 14 days before your arrival we charge you 50% of the total amount, and from 13 days to 7 days before your arrival we charge you 75%. For your cancellation for whatever reason less than 6 days prior to arrival we will charge you the full amount.

Weather conditions:
For cancellations from La Leona Eco Lodge due to natural disasters, bad weather conditions or impassable roads we will reimburse 50% of the total amount of your reservation.

Guides:
A guide has free meals and lodging for a group of 8 or more people; a second guide has free accommodation and pays 50% of the meals. Further people accompanying the group pay the regular price.
For a group of less than 8 people lodging is free for a guide and he receives a 50% discount on the meals. Further accompanying people pay the regular price. Guides and other accompanying people are accommodated in shared tent-cabins for guides.
