Sirena Rainforest tour
(National park, 2 or 3 days)

sirena rainforest tour

The tour takes us to the heart of Corcovado National Park Sirena Biological Station. It is one of the most exciting adventures you can experience on the Osa Peninsula.

You walk about 16 kilometers along a forest trail near the beach and cross two big rivers, Rio Madrigal and Rio Claro. At Sirena you can either camp or stay in a dormitory, buy meals or bring your own, durable food.

On the way we might have luck and spot all four species of monkeys or the biggest terrestrial mammal, the tapir, as well as poisonous dart frogs, various species of tropical avifauna, snakes or other gifts of nature, as for example the puma. We also hike on pristine beaches with beautiful sceneries and old rock formations.

We recommend a package of 2 nights and 3 days for exploring on the second day various trails around Sirena station; here you can see the beauty and uniqueness of the last remaining lowland rainforest on the Pacific Coast.

Just bring along what you need for this tour!
